Theater is more than something I do; it’s something I live.  As a director, I am constantly inspired by the collaborative nature of this art form.  Theater, like all great art, is one of the last bastions where artists can truly have a voice – a place where stories are told, ideas are explored, and connections are made.

When Susan O’Connell, the original director of this play, had to step aside, I had the privilege of stepping in.  After reading the script, I was struck, by its poignancy, humor, and heart.  It’s a story that resonates deeply, and I knew immediately it was something I wanted to help bring to life.

Community theater is a special space where artists come together to create something greater than themselves.  Working with this talented cast and crew has been an absolute joy.  Some are familiar collaborators I’ve had the pleasure of working with before, while others are brilliant new talents-hidden gems I can’t believe I hadn’t crossed paths with until now.
